Hello, as most of you know God has moved us from our comfort zone in PA to unfamiliar territory in Maryland all for the cause of Christ. We moved on July 1st, 2006 and I don't think the dust has truly settled yet. I (Andrew) have started Bible College, am leading some of the early worship services and doing some special music. Misty is getting rather involved in the womens ministry, going to lunch raps and just being available to serve as always. Grant loves "the church on fire" and is making friends in Sunday School. Reese is making little friends and is a menace in the mothers room as he is realizng that the things attached to the bottom of his legs are pretty cool. The transition wasn't with out it's minor bumps but the body has been welcoming, the Word is precise, the call is clear and God's grace is sufficent. I will post more as time permits. Thanks for your prayers!
In Christ,
Andrew, Misty, Grant and Reese.

Andrew and Misty- Its such an honor and priveledge to get the chance to know you. Though the cost may seem high to take the steps of faith that you both have, it is so clearly obvious that the payoff is greater than we can imagine. I hope that as the months and years pass by that we can grow in our friendship and fellowship in Christ. Thanks for the blog...Joseph Stauffer
Hey Andrew,
Glad to hear your doing so well in MD. I hope everything continues to do so. Good Luck to you and yours. God Bless.
Misty & Andrew,
So glad that you have decided (esp. you Mist LOL) to come to this state and pursue the call of God. 'Cause Penna. is a great place! But here our spirits rejoice to hear Who God is and what He has done on an almost daily basis and I am so blessed to see how God is using you both here. The possibilities are endless! And the burden is light when we are resting in the Finished Work.
Thanking God for you!
Love, Bonnie
Now that our time in OBX is over, we miss you guys even more! It was a wonderful time fellowshipping with your family and Katie and Rob. We know God is just starting to ramp up HIs plan to bless you in Baltimore!
Hey guys...I'm trying once again to leave you a message. I like this blogger idea. I'm going to print out your blog page, with the pictures, etc; and put this on our mission board. I'm putting together a section entitled: "Sent Ones!" On this board will be pictures of all those individuals that our local church has sent out, to either the mission field, MBC&S, etc, etc.
York Update: We now have two Release Time Bible studies: Tues & Thurs at 11am - to 12:30pm. We have the privlege and honor to teach public school children the Word of Grace two days a week for the next 30 weeks. Praise the Lord! What a miracle.
Door to door evangelism has been very successful over the last month, not only for the body's vision, averaging 20 people every Saturday knocking on doors, but also for the people we are meeting in new "housing developments" in North York County.
The York Rescue mission will be increasing our frequency of having chapel services, teaching the Word of Grace there twice a month. Please pray for more volunteers.
The Nursing home ministry with Pastor Julian and his family is reaching many people with the gospel monthly. Open doors for teaching the Finished work are before us continually. God has graciously given our ministry an "open heaven." Pastor Julian and his family are great examples of faithfulness to the call of God. (all by grace of course).
York School of the Bible - We welcome two new students to YSB; Kevin and Liz Orsie. We are enriched by our close affiliation to GGWO & MBC&S for extension classes. We currently are offering two classes: Applied Bible Doctrine (video Dr. Stevens); and a new class from MBC&S "foundations." These classes and the instruction time after with various pastor's are very powerful. We thank God!
Well...guys! We love you, miss you, are so blessed to see your faith obedience to God's call to uproot, relocate, and be planted in Baltimore to train in this 21st century at one of the most amazing Grace Institutes on planet earth.
The Body in York will always be grateful for your laid down lives of faithful service...I can only think of Matt 25 when Jesus said, well done good and faithful servant. You were faithful over a few things, and I will make you ruler of many things...Hallelujah! Praise the Lord for fruit that remains.
To Andrew, Misty, Grant, and Reese, You are deeply loved and appreciated.
In His grace,
pduke
